"The hotel was reasonable but not outstanding - the room was smaller than expected and it was disappointing that security had parked in the disabled bay which I could have done with using as a blue badge holder. The staff were however friendly and accommodating. The rooms were not as quiet as I would have liked and I was woken twice in the night once by a door being opened and once from snoring and the toilet being used by the room next door. The room would benefit from a desk and chair and free WiFi for the duration of the stay not just 8 hours a day. I would return for pleasure I would not return for business. "

"Ticked all the boxes for me. It was just a base to sleep, didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on those. It was clean enough and check in was done in a very friendly manner which was everything I was looking for."

"Hotel was very good. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good part morning 2. No fried eggs morning 1. Bar prices not extortionate. Only criticism is that TV in room has no apps and no radio, very limited channels and didn't appear to be able to stream content from phone orc tablet. Parking very good and loca perfect if you wanted to go into town and very close to train station. "

"Lovely big rooms, very confortable bed and goid to have use of leisure facilities. Staff friendly and helpful - relicated me to a feound floor room as lift not working which i appreciated. Plenty of parking close to reception. I dudnt eat at the hitel so cannot comnent on food."

"Unique boutique style rooms. Was expecting a bog standard pub with rooms. Fabulously maintained centuries old building. "
