"Good place and good value. Paper thin walls that you can hear every conversation from the next room through, and some minor damage to the room that wasn’t repaired. No soap in the shower soap container which was frustrating. Overall though, good service, nice staff, and good value. Would stay again if traveling through. "

"Our 2nd of many future stays! It's our "home" away from home! The outdoor kitchens we have yet to use & there's two for family & friend gatherings. Air/wayer hoses, corn hole, horse shoe, ice machine, fish cleaning station, laundry onsite, pool, toys and bikes, clothes line, firepits, entertainment area for Sat (seasonal) night boogy. Rooms are renovated, some with walk in showers. Gift shop & Art Gallery on site. Doggie stations w/poop bags, dog play area (fenced), kayack use with life vests....

"Wife and I spent the weekend for our 31st Anniversary. Off season and quiet but that’s the way I planned it. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Will be back this summer during the tourist season when the island will be hopping. Recommend Blackbeards Lodge to any and all "

"This is a perfect mix of boutique hotel and vacation rental. Interior is modern and clean, with lots of space. High end finishes, and very comfortable. The wellness deck is very nice, overlooking the sound for great sunsets. Our suite was adjacent, with a small private deck. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. This was a perfect base for exploring the area, and then come back to a comfortable and clean cocoon."

"Pets on both sides of us barking in the middle of the night. Didn’t realize it was pet friendly and that is fine but do a better job of separation of pet rooms from non pet rooms "
