"Beautiful hotel situated on an ancient farm. The “new” buildings were constructed 200-300 years ago, yet are totally modern inside. Gardening is beautiful. Staff are incredibly friendly, caring and helpful. Breakfast was great and presented in a personal, pleasant way on a lovely patio. We loved this place—the best so far on our 3-week tour of Southern Italy and Sicily."

We made reservations five months before we arrived and at that time we requested a room on a lower floor, knowing the topography of the town and that some rooms had many steps. My wife and I are not kids but when we arrived, after not being met at the train station as promised we had to carry our bags up about 75-100 steps to our room. "I stayed here for a weekend because my friends wedding reception was nearby. The place is beautiful. Maria and her husband are the sweetest! I don’t speak Italian but we were able to communicate very well. They make you feel like you are their family. I felt so safe and if I am ever back in Sicily I would stay here again. "Where do I begin. If you don't speak italian don't come here. Staff is not the friendliest. Was here for a wedding for a week. It's long term living. So what can you say. It's apartment style. If you are used to 5 stars definitly not for you. If you like camps with lots of kids and families. This is for you. They have it all yoga, meditation, exercise classes in water and out. Don't look forward to the coplimantary breakfast. Needs to be booked 2 days in advance. Better off going somewhere...
