"Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe. Beautiful and relaxed setting just minutes from remote parking for the bus into York if you're interested. an easy drive to Haxby - which had everything we needed as far a shopping and restaurants. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice - all made for a perfect light supper when we arrived after a long day on the road. We were able to do some laundry. Enjoyed bird watching. Just a lovely stay overall and would definitely stay again "

"Fantastic, greeted with milk in the fridge and fresh eggs, Lovely host who was so freindly, full of local knowledge and advice on things to do. The cottage absolutely beautiful with log fire (although we didnt use it as the place was so toasty and warm). "My partner and I (and our dog) stayed at Gemma’s lovely cottage and we couldn’t be happier! Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!"
