"This was the final hotel in a week long trip around Europe - a stopping point between south of France and the ferry at Dunkirk, so picked at random. So pleased that we found this place - very welcoming and friendly reception, comfortable room and most importantly, a fantastic restaurant to finish our trip in style! The rooms could do with a bit of TLC and I haven't seen a toilet like the one in the room since my student days(!) but I suspect that La Chaumiere is better known for it's...

"A quaint ski lodge venue tucked away in a scenic by way and well off the beaten track. I can't recommend it enough. Great value for the money. Only downside is no elevator, so pack lightly!"
