"What we liked was everything including how busy yet how helpful the entire staff were. Great car park, lovely setting. What we did not like was the slightly dated room, the air conditioner did not work. We know we are in a fantastic position but the noise which we know the hotel cannot do anything but the noise from drunk girls screaming outside at the front of the hotel where we were was really annoying."

"I dont often leave reviews, probably because I seem to spend half my life in hotels with work, but the Manor House Hotel deserves some serious plaudits. From the minute I arrived I have been seriously impressed at every turn. From the well balanced professionalism/friendliness of all the staff, the superb 3 course dinner (the Pork & Scallops starter is the best I've had with the Scallops cooked to perfection) to the stunning Spa facilities (particularly the outdoor area) The room is clean, bed comfortable and a great shower. Not really sure what more I or anyone could really ask for! Top Class and I'll be back."

"Booked this cheap 2 night stay to be near Alton Towers. Its a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers but that was perfect for us. The room was clean although very warm at night due to no aircon but we did have a fan in there. We were facing the front of the hotel so no road traffic noise however did get slightly disturbed a couple of times on the first morning at 7/7.30 from people going through the front door . The staff are all so friendly at the hotel and the pub. We sat in the garden for a few hours having drinks on the first evening and then had dinner in the pub . We then had breakfast at the pub on the first morning. Lovely food all round, and very decent prices. Definitely a good place to stay as a base for places like Alton Towers or the monkey forest nearby."

"The hotel room was very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. The only thing I would improve on is the wall thickness as you could hear every single word the neighbours said."
