"We booked this last minute and are so pleased with our decision! This cabin has everything you need to just get away from it all! The kitchen is fully stocked, it has a washer & dryer, full sized stove, and even a dishwasher! Oh, and WiFi which is helpful with the limited cell service in the area. Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob are just a few of the amazing places to visit while in the area. Again, we had a great stay!"

"The Haven was all that I had hoped for. It's nestled in the woods without being too far away from everything. The house is clean and comfortable. All the extra little touches are what really made it perfect, including the eggs, milk, juice, and other food items, chocolates, drinks and snacks, and outside items. I enjoyed sitting on the covered porch area and relaxing in the cool moutnain air. I will definitely be going back!"

"We were looking for a quiet, out in the country place to celebrate our anniversary and came across this quaint cabin just outside Monterey, VA. The cabin is cozy, and it worked well for just the two of us. We took advantage of the hot tub which was very well maintained. We also lit up the firepit on another evening while watching the moon rise over the hills. The cabin is just a few minutes from Monterey (which sits in the valley just below the cabin.) Monterey is a small but interesting town...

"Love the location nestled in the woods, the quiet brook burbling past the firepit, the homey pinewood interior, the fully stocked kitchen, the delicious jam and cookies gift. We stayed two nights while climbing Nelson Rocks and wish we had stayed longer. Thanks so much for your hospitality...if I owned a cabin like that, I'd never leave!"

Lots of window, that made for a very nice breeze all night, and so many stars you could see from bed. "It was our engagement weekend and this cabin was perfect for the weekend getaway! It is tucked up on the mountain and is in good driving distance to Seneca and Dolly Sods. The property is nice and secluded. The fire pit/grill area was lovely to have dinner at on a brisk night. Spacious and cozy cabin! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice get away spot! "

"Me and my four friends have been doing an annual “guys getaway” going on six years now. This house was by far the best we have stayed at. The house was exactly as described and pictured. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. The house is in a great location and there were a lot of places to go hiking. Lots of wildlife in the area and every night we saw multiple deer meandering around the yard. We would definitely stay here again."
