"The food in the diner is INCREDIBLE...the service at the front desk awesome. We even had an incident where the door locked in the bathroom and the night front desk came to change out the door handle! Excellent, dog-friendly, place ....note there is NO LIFT...our dog can't do stairs so we were carrying our dogs, our bags and ourselves up several flights of stairs"

"Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors. "
