"Lovely hotel. Perfect location and very pretty and modern hotel. Staff were exceptional. Amazing cocktails late in the evening from 24 hour reception and helpful throughout. Room was compact but everything you need and great shower. Free sparkling water on tap in the hallway. Bus from the airport drops you off seconds from the hotel. "

"Hotel itself was fascinating: a town-centre, music-themed gem. The venerable age of the buildings contrasted pleasantly with the modern decoration. Beware of potentially occasional noise from the street, given the location! The staff were most helpful throughout. "

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"The door didn't close without us slamming it, some staff were very friendly but others were quite rude and didn't tell us when the breakfast buffet moved next door until we came downstairs and reception was locked so we knocked until someone answered. The area around the hotel is lovely but the hotel itself isn't the best. It's old, with black mold in the shower railing, orange soap scum staining the curtain and poor ventilation, even worse AC. Says the soap etc is included but provided only one hand soap which was poorly functioning as the bag inside the dispenser was broken. If you like lizards we did see one outside though, very cute."
