"If you are looking for a hotel in the Grindelwald area you should stay here. Everything about his hotel is outstanding. The rooms and the entire hotel are very clean and quiet. The view from our room of the snow-covered mountains was beautiful. The entire staff was wonderful. They are interested in making your stay with them feel like you are part of this family-owned hotel. They are celebrating their 125th anniversary this month. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and that things are right. The hotel is located within walking distance of shops and restaurants in town. We had dinner at their restaurant. It was quite a pleasurable experience. As good as any Michelin star restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious. The servers (who were outstanding) explained how each dish was prepared as it was served. We ate breakfast at the hotel each day and found it to be excellent. There is a bus that stops at the front door that can take you to town or to the train station. Overall, our stay here was quite a pleasurable experience. We would stay here again for sure."

"Host was very friendly and helpful! Our room had been recently renovated and was clean and very well done. The lobby area was very cozy and welcoming. We arrived on a Tuesday and their restaurant was closed in the evening but we were given excellent recommendations for elsewhere."
