Our kids loved playing on the grass, in the pool, and around the property. Great rural location fi that's what you're looking for. Wifi not strong enough to do work from home."

"It was excellent to look out into the backyard with the castle of Carcassonne above. The home is very well maintained. There isn't a clothes washer/dryer, but the laundromat is efficient and only a short walk from the place."

"We had a wonderful week in Alzonne. The gite is beautifully and practically furnished. Everything you need is available and the accommodation has a beautiful, cosy and tasteful appearance. "We really enjoyed our stay at this house it is very well equipped and very close to la Cité. Perfectly located for visiting and strolls by the river Aude. (Plenty of games and good WiFi kept teenagers happy when indoors)"

"We had a superb stay in this extraordinary house. It fitted 13 people with room to spare and was nicely furnished. We liked the backyard a lot and we all hung out there and relaxed. We went on several excursions and visited vineyards. We also dined at the local restaurants. It is a very small and quiet town. We enjoyed our stay very much. Regards, Sigrunn"

Lagrasse was lovely too Toulouse on the train for a day trip was very cheap and delightful. So nice to stay in someone’s house - thanks very much for the welcome"

"Excellent communication from owner from time of booking Good value property, within quiet location, within walking distance of both the new and old parts of town, plenty of lovely restaurants and bars Spotless with everything needed for our stay in Carcassonne, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer and a fully fitted small kitchen, 2 Smart TV’s. "Beautiful and cherished family home. All rooms a good size with en suite showers, fewer toilets as expected with a house this age but plumbing works very well. Very well equipped kitchen and pleasant outdoor BBQ area. House is well situated for road transport and supermarket. There are plenty of activities for family groups; we recommend Halle de La machines, rafting at Axat, caving all within 1.5 hours drive.
