"Two couples, beautiful rooms, nice view of valley, delicious breakfast, enjoyed the house cats, walkway close to property was a steep but helpful shortcut to the main street below, easy day trip to Pinhao but enjoyed wineries and restaurants in Regua"

"Beautiful property and amazing staff. The weather was a bit rainy but it was still very beautiful and the indoor pool was amazing. You do need to wear a swim cap for the indoor pool though. Good breakfast as well"

"OMGosh this is the prettiest hotel. Right on the Douro River. Every nook is a surprise. All the rooms are slightly different so choose wisely and be specific. We had a wonderful dinner in the the restaurant. All the food was very good, just be aware if you have food restrictions etc. as "no dairy/milk" seems to be get confused. Just ask to speak to someone who knows as they actually pride themselves on being able to accomodate Gluten and Dairy free . Having said this, the breakfast is super nicely done. You will not be dissappointed."

"Beautiful property with a great wine tour. Breakfast was delicious as well and it had a nice bar. There are wild peacocks and pea hens running around and the spa has some unusual treatments. Loved this stay!"
