"Matanzas is the most unique beach in this part of Florida and a wonderfully secluded location for a getaway. We love the location, the view, the direct access to the beach, the quiet of neighborhood and the layout of the condo. But please beware of a couple of major drawbacks. First, the third sleeping area is completely ridiculous. It is a mechanical closet with two beds crammed in- no ventilation or fan, and not tall enough for an adult to stand up in. No closet or stand for a suitcase, no electrical outlet. And no actual stairs to get into the space which makes it incredibly dangerous. It was not at all described accurately online. This is appropriate only for kids but even then totally not to code. In addition the third floor is not accessible at all for anyone with mobility issues. Both interior and exterior stairs are steep and numerous - not pictured in the listing or described - it was difficult to manage for two of our guests. Finally, bring supplies - there was very little paper products, soap or detergents for 5 people staying 5 days. "

"This beach house was more than expected. It had everything we needed and more. The only complaint I have is I wish I knew exactly what all was provided because then I wouldn’t have had to pack as much as we did. Hahaha. So, really, not a complaint at all. The house was beautifully decorated, amazing access to the beach and so relaxing. I especially loved the deck and the fact that it had a gate at the top so our dog could enjoy the fresh air while we ate, drank coffee, and just hung out in it.The backyard was amazing too. Pool was perfect size for our family of 6. The hot tub was an added bonus. And the yard was fenced in with a nice privacy fence that kept our dog safe.Also of note, it’s so hard trying to find a beach house that didn’t charge an arm and a leg for a pet. The pet fee was more than reasonable here. And the fact that they allow dogs over 50lbs is also so hard to find. Soooo very grateful for that.My kids and hubby had a blast playing pool/air hockey/ ping pong. Such a great addition especially when you’ve had enough sun for the day.The neighbors were all so friendly. The beach was quiet, and gorgeous. We even got to see some interesting sea life (jelly fish, sea turtles, crabs, etc.) We absolutely loved our visit and were so very impressed with our stay. Would definitely stay here again, HIGHLY recommend!"

"This property was the perfect fit for our family. The house is spacious, attractive and comfortable. The ocean is right there and many days, we were the only ones on the beach. The deck is huge and we loved stargazing at night. The property manager was very pleasant to work with throughout the rental process. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this vacation rental!"
