"La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom...

"We spend 2 nights in hostal part of jungle lodge hotel Even that location is in the middle of a jungle we didnt experienced anything in terms of mosquito's or other insects Grounds and common areas were kept clean and immaculate Friendly stuff Great delicious food at the hotel restaurant Lots of tours offered like sunset ,sunrise and archeological among many others Lots of birds to watch and ither friendly wildlife. Highly recomend"

"Special mention to the front desk person Sandy. She really helped me out with flight changes, went above and beyond. The room was nice, sharing one bathroom with 6 people it was quite dirty but once the cleaners came through it was fine. great location and if you aren't there in the morning for breakfast they make a sandwich for you to take with you.
