"It was an amazing stay. The hotel was near attractions and the train station plus plenty of food options nearby. The room was huge with a lovely view of the Cathedral, clean and equipped with the necessary amenities. Stefano & Madelina were wonderful hosts. Stefano was really helpful checking on updates when there was a train strike the day we were leaving Florence. We will be returning to Relais Luce when we visit Florence again in the future. "

"The hotel is not a hotel it is more like renting rooms in a 4th floor walk up with a small elevator you can use one person at a time. As soon as you walk in to the first floor the smell of sewage was overwhelming and in the room if you kept the bathroom door closed and the window open it was not that bad but when you opened the bathroom door it was nauseating and we bought air freshener with no resolution of the stench. "I do NOT recommend for tourist. We had 2 horrible nights. This is a guest house so shared amenities and such but with the other guest it was hard to relax with people coming and going throughout the night. There were people the first night making food and smashing dishes in the kitchen until midnight and while we respect the culture, we rise early and did not sleep well or at all. The second night someone was slamming and banging on the door and buzzer to be let in and yelling for quite some...

"Old pipes meant the toilet wasn’t able to tolerate any paper. This caused some difficulties. Although a great location we’d consider another place to stay in future due to this."

"Positive points : internal parking but limited and your car may be blocked by other residents Well equipped rooms the furniture was like 5 stars hotels . Negative points: The AC doesn't work properly, it was really hot there . The lady that did the check in knocked our door strongly and told me that i have change the parking of my car i understand but she spoke loudly with me and this was really disrespectful from her . "

Lovely and comfortable and location was absolutely perfect, just that little distance from the hustle and bustle of the main attractions but not too far away. Our room was serviced daily and well maintained. Would recommend if staying a few nights as its location is perfect for discovering Firenze. "
