"This hotel is perfect. Perfect location. A few minutes walk into the town. The spa/pool/jacuzzi area is excellent and very relaxing. Close to all the restaurants and pubs but far enough out so it is quiet. The only niggle was you could feel the springs in the bed. However if you are only staying a few nights then it isn’t a massive issue. Just a shame as the bed looks amazing. It hasn’t stopped me from already looking to come back here. Highly recommend. 5*"

"We (me and 3 kids) had a wonderful stay and are looking at returning. Great value for money. The pool was a highlight and we used it daily. We were also allowed to use the pool on our day of departure after checking out. Take your own towels to avoid £££ for renting them. "

"Stayed in the Winander Club, room 888 which was excellent. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had our own reception area which was quick. Our room as on the top floor with only one other room. We had a really comfortable bed, bath in main room, good. Size bathroom with nice products and complimentary sweets. But by far the best selling point is the room balcony with amazing views of lake Windermere. Nothing better than sitting have a morning tea / coffee looking at the lake and fells in the cool morning air. Ultimately we can't fault this hotel and our going to look to make it out base to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year. Our only suggestion would be for there to be outside towels to dry off plastic balcony furniture and perhaps blankets so you can spend more time enjoying the outside room space as there are no heaters."

"Wow Morecambe is looking good with amazing views to lakes and Eden Project on way. Hotel very good and of the era, food good and service too. We had 2 amazing fireworks displays too. Id highly recomend driving to Morecambe via Carnforth as the approach is stunning . "
