"2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! The fireplace and massage chair were an amazing touch (we didn't use the sauna since we got tattoos but love that we had the option to do so!!!). If you're looking for a place to get away and have a natural surrounding while still being very close to things, this is a great space to check out. I would...

"Very nice cabin! The neighborhood is also nice. The cabin has Wi-Fi, and smart TVs for entertainment. There are nice appliances for cooking and washer dryer for clothes. Check in was super easy. Great location, but it is a little bit of a drive to nearby drink and food. Will definitely stay again. "

"We had the pleasure of staying at The Gem while visiting family in Bovey. It was such a beautiful location (that is saying something considering we are from Alaska) with everything you could need. We had a wonderful time fishing on the lake and were quite successful. The sunroom was a fantastic surprise on arrival. We look forward to staying again while visiting family in the near future. "

"Beautiful property. I'm pretty sure the pictures were updated on the listing after we booked so we didn't know how good the dock was. Had I seen those pics I would have had a rental pontoon delivered to us which is readily available in the area. The 2nd bathroom is very strange as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and it is directly next to the kitchen. Did not feel private at all. Other than that, it was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We would book it again...
