"My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. This Lake House was such a cool change for us. There is a whole floor devoted to games like pool, ping pong and foosball. My 14 year old loved this. We spent a lot of time playing. "Though the drive was a bit hairy, once we got to the property I was absolutely thrilled. The cabin was quaint but not small as the space was used perfectly. I did see a small black bear which was thrilling though I think I scared it more. Ao thankful for the rental, the quiet of the environment and the cool looking Yurts down the road.
