"House was cozy and spacious, the trappers cabin was great for our kids. It was spotless and we had everything we needed. We loved the firepit with grill and the TV on the covered porch was bonus! It’s unusual to have such a remote spot with great WiFi. There is also a Dish with smart TVs. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. We can’t wait to come back."

"Off the beat. Private, and very quiet. However, I did leave a few items of clothing behind. I did try to contact the owner about retuning the items at my expense, but I never heard a word. I can understand why they may not want to hassle with the return, but it would have been nice at least to get a follow up email instead of no response at all. "

"I can’t say enough good things about our stay in the blue door cabin! It was the perfect place to unwind as a family and enjoy nature. I loved how secluded it felt being surrounded by trees! We had a wonderful view of the moon each night and enjoyed the morning light through the beautiful big windows! I felt like it was the perfect location with plenty of places nearby to hike and enjoy the Buffalo River. We liked that it wasn’t too far from town, so we were able to grab lunch and ice cream with our kids one afternoon which they really enjoyed. The cabin was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Our kids enjoyed the board games and the two sweet pups that visited each day! They spoiled them with treats :) We also enjoyed painting river rocks as a family outside on the back porch one evening. We didn’t get to use the fire pit unfortunately due to a burn ban that was in place which we were super bummed about but that didn’t stop us from having a good time! The ONLY negative thing was the driveway to get up to the cabin was a bit steep which is to be expected but it was very uneven and rocky in places going up so I was a little nervous that we might not make it up but we did! Thank goodness my husband was driving LOL. I would definitely advise to drive a truck or suv. I don’t know if a car could make it! Other than that we had a wonderful time and everything was PERFECT. We hope and plan to be back some day!! "

"Clean and beautiful, yet a rustic hunters-themed cabin. The cabin is isolated and private. The hot tub was a ton of fun! We were treated like royalty on the farm tour. LC was a gracious host, well educated and safe. We actually did feed Buffalo by hand!! I highly recommend a stay here. Bring all the food you need, and don’t forget briquettes & lighter fluid for the charcoal grill!"

"Location was close-by the town, yet on a quiet road that was easily accessible. Signs were up to identify turns, and the farmhouse was all that was advertised.The bed was comfy, and there was a lot of room to unwind and relax!"
