"What a gem! Tucked away in the back streets of Como. I can’t fault this place. Staff are amazing, each and every one of them. We were upgraded - however I think every room here is special. We will make this our permanent pit stop on the way to Puglia now. Just a note - the breakfast is an epic affair. Make tummy space and time to enjoy it. "

The hotel place was very convenient to go to University and the city centre. I can recommend this hotel stay to many people. "Marcello's Place is on a great street with a very nice, clean and modern room. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay and our visit in Como. There is coffee and tea in the room for you as well as a small refrigerator. We had a car and figured out to park just past the key pick up (blue lines only- not yellow lines). "Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property. "
