"The host was great, speedy response to my questions and overall, great with communications/instructions for check-in/out. The place/home is lovely, nice view however, it's very hidden and the drive/road scary when dark. A hidden gem has everything you need. The WiFi stopped working/kicked us out Sat. evening after we came back from all day exploring which was a bummer. "The property was great once we got there. Also the communication with the owner was very fast. It took us much longer to get there than anticipated, however . Coming from Yosemite it took us 1.5 hours while the map when plotting from the property to Yosemite is only 40 minutes. Just be aware and plot in both directions so you can set your expectation properly. "

"Just fix the a/c other than that it was perfect since you can open windows to let cool air cause wildlife, it was a little bit too hot for us"

"We had a wonderful time in Oakhurst. The house was big enough for the 4 of us. The location was great because we could see Bass Lake from the front door. We liked how we were close to town. We will be back."

"We enjoyed our stay, especially the location in the park. The winding road to get there was a little unnerving; wouldn’t want to drive it in the dark! Beds were comfy and showers were hot. Other than the beds and shower, we didn’t use anything because our stay was just overnight. We saw 2 deer and kept our eyes peeled for a bear which was not seen. My only concern regarding the house was the railing and individual step when approaching the front door. We are in our 70’s and yes a little...

"A lovely place. Everything is at the right place. Considerate and cozy. There is a small market nearby selling fruits, vegetables,..... Chilnualna Falls is only .3 miles away. We only went to lower falls this time. It's a very nice trail and seems not an easy one. Next time we will get to the upper falls. "

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was spacious and had all the amenities we were looking for. "

"You will find beauty everywhere here, from the layout of the home and the decor to the natural landscape and creek running in the back yard. Everything is superb! The hosts are accommodating and great at communicating, but they are also sweet! We appreciated their courtesy and kindness.We spent the first day enjoying the property, the second exploring Yosemite, the third at the house again until late afternoon at Bass Lake, and the fourth getting ready to say goodbye. We hope to return again...

"Specious place everything describe like the photos. We visit in March total of 7 adults and 2 children lots of place for my 2 years old to run around. 2 large patios to enjoy outdoor view. This place is fully equipped with things you need to cook for 10 people and has children’s plates and bowls. When we first got there there were a ft of snow cover the parking and walk way to the front door. This area has poor reception for both T-Mobile and Verizon in order to contact the host I had to walk...

"Arrived after dark and found the house decorated withXmas lights. Entered to a Xmas tree and decorations with the heat on and it felt SO cozy. In the morning with sunlight we discovered we were on the top of a mountainand the house felt like a tree house. A special place indeed! Lots of places were near by including Yosemite.A great place to create family memories. Thanks"

"We arrived at the house, it was clean, cute and just overall wonderful. Our kids love the foosball table. The open space in the kitchen living area was nice to be able to cook and be close to everyone. The overall appearance of the home was well decorated and just beautiful. The homeowner was above and beyond helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this house. "

"Place was great. Spa was awesome. Gas fireplace was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. Could use a couple new skillets. Communication with the host Vacasa was not up to the standard of past stays in properties they host but it did not impact the experience in any way."

"One of the few homes we've found that was even more beautiful than in the photos. Everything was spotless. Charissa couldn't have been quicker to respond to every question we had. Loved the pool table and selection of games in the home because it is a quiet area. So enjoyed our family time in the evenings, relaxing after an active day in Yosemite. Highly recommend this home!"

"The Creekside Home in Mariposa was a great place to stay. It’s a bit of a drive to town (20 minutes), but worth it. A clean, comfortable house that had everything we needled. Unfortunately we were visiting Yosemite both days we were there so didn’t spend much time at the house, but the time we did spend there was comfortable. "

Whether you are resting up from the chaos of life, wish to hike around local trails, wander through the adorable town of Mariposa or visit Yosemite. I have enjoyed every moment here.
