"The check in process was long winded. We felt rushed to be there to meet the cleaner at a specific time but had been delayed in Rome getting the hire car and had had a 3.5 hour drive. "Absolutely gorgeous and pristine lodging tucked away in the hills just 30 minutes north of Florence. Our family stayed here for a week during our wedding and they didn’t want to leave. The residence is in a secure gated entrance, the property is modern, clean and spacious, and the outside - beautiful pool, open yard, and patio for late night conversation with wine. Owner and manager were friendly and had great communication which made the overall stay even better than five stars!"

"Overall we loved our stay. The villa had great spaces to spend time with others, both indoors and outdoors, and large bedrooms to spend time alone as needed. The kitchen was great, even though we ate out quite a bit and didn't do much cooking. Nearby on-site houseman was super helpful and made things very easy for us. It was a 15-minute walk to bus stop to Florence city center. We just loved it."
