"As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel. "Isolated. Have to walk up a Hill for 30 minutes with luggage. First supermarkt is in another village. ( Marzabotto ) We walked for 40 minutes to buy Some food and water. We booked and payed for 3 nights but left afther 1 night. Never met te owner in person, only spoke through whats app. The studio is really nice and okay and nature surronding has beauty but there is nothing you can do with it. There is nothing there. You need a car and that should be very clear when you book!"

"We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. "
