"What I loved about Bologna when I visited last year was the small alleys filled with lively pubs and restaurants. This led me to choose this unit which was literally on the doorsteps of some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. My only caution is that being on the doorsteps means that some of the noise filters upwards into the unit until a bit after midnight. "L'endroit est idéalement situé à environ 30 - 45 minutes du centre historique de Florence et à 20 - 30 minutes des commerces. Calme absolu dans cette charmante petite maison où seule Renate (la propriétaire) vit et s'occupe de vous si besoin. La piscine est très agréable et la terrasse pour déjeuner à l'extérieur est bien abritée du vent et du soleil l'été. Bref, nous aimons beaucoup l'endroit !"

"Een prima woning in het mooie Emilia-Romagna. Een perfecte uitgangspositie om naar Bologna, Modena of het nabijgelegen natuurgebied te gaan. Je hebt wel een auto nodig, met het OV raad ik het af. De woning is goed uitgerust en erg netjes. Bed slaapt prima en de keuken biedt precies wat je nodig hebt. Wel een nadeel: de omgeving. Helaas voor de verhuurder kan hij hier niets aan doen. De hond van de overburen blaft iedere nacht meerdere keren langdurig. Daarnaast begon een -zo lijkt het- dronken...

"The villa was constructed in the 18th century and fully renovated inside. It had 2 nice rooms with AC, living room and fully equipped kitchen. We loved having breakfast and dinner outside the villa while enjoying the view! Margherita was a great host and we appreciate her letting us to enjoy her place for few days! I highly recommend this place. It is also very well located at 12 mins by car to the Rifina train station, 40 mins to Florence and 50 mins to Chianti Classico region."

"Durch sehr sommerliches Wetter konnten wir die ganze Zeit über draußen sein und den schönen Pool genießen. Wir durften im Baumhaus schlafen, da es im Haus zu stickig war. Das war immer sehr schön. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es einen schönen Wasserfall mit Naturpool. Das Häuschen ist gut ausgestattet. Sehr liebevolle Gastgeber sind vor Ort."

"As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel.
