"My son and I had a lovely stay at Robert and Rebecca’s home. Everything was as advertised, it was extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was hands down one of the better vacation rentals we’ve stayed at and I would happily stay here again if we return to Vernon. "

"This is our 3rd year staying in the Orchard house during the winter, using it as a base for skiing at Silverstar/Sovereign Lake. We return because we get the best of both worlds; easy access to excellent Nordic skiing and the restaurants/bakery in Vernon. Our hosts are great communicators, the beds are comfy and the location next to the BX trails can't be beat. We recommend it to anyone who wants a low-key, comfy post-adventure house."

"Property was as listed. Hosts provided everything we needed even though they were travelling themselves. Spot is quiet, bright, and well equipped for longer stays. Views of garden and wildlife were nice to wake up to. Location is good as nothing in Vernon is very far away. "

"Had a weekend golf trip with family and friends and this was a great central location for the courses we played. Beautiful home with lots of space for our group. "

"We had 12 in our group so the accommodation was great. The last several km of the road are dirt but it is well compacted and of no concern to anyone in our group. There are 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, 2 on the main and 2 on the lower level. Lots of fun amenities like a pool table and lawn games. We had another location we spent most of day time hours at on the water so enjoyed the evening views and watching the storm roll in."

"This property a total godsend. The big carport saved the day for us, as we were in between house moves, loaded to our eyeballs with boxes. This is a most beautiful acreage in a super convenient location. The basement suite has large windows both front and back, very private and quiet. Fully complete with everything for short and long term stays. I managed a few new recipes even able to cook a meal for friends in the very functional kitchen. "First impressions are gut feelings. The moment I opened the door to this place, after driving for four hours, my first impression was “nice.” Then, I stepped in and discovered the place.
