"The property was fine - clean with good breakfast. But we were thinking it was closer to Inverness. That was our own fault I suppose since we looked it up. It was not close enough to "run into town for dinner." The location is peaceful but far from a town. It reminded me of midwest US with farms and wheatfields surrounding. The closest town was Nairn where we found a good place to eat dinner. But if you are looking for a location from which to explore Inverness, this is not the place."

"Alison and Hugh are superb hosts and went out of their way to make us feel át home'in their beautiful house in Lossiemouth. Further, they were both so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed Hugh's cooking! We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The house itself is ideally located only 2 minutes to nearby restaurants, coffee and the idyllic beach. "Spent two nights during our tour of the Highlands. Hotel was conveniently located to visit Cawdor & Blair castles, Culloden and Loch Ness. The hotel is easy to find, plenty of parking and walkable to several restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the required amenities. Cooked to order breakfast was amazing and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend."
