"The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I stayed in a double on the sissi wing with a large bathroom and good hot shower. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great as I left early to walk budapest so having a good meal in the morning was fantastic. The hotel is located a stones throw from an aldi and is right on the bus and metro route so getting to anywhere in the city is quick and easy. "Perfectly good low cost hotel. Staff were helpful. Non smoking but overwhelming smell of smoke in en suite. A fridge but no kettle in the room (as I said low cost) Beware of booking adult and child room with breakfast; if the child is over 6 years the breakfast for them is not included! Ebooker problem not the hotel, they were good about it. Hotel is not lit up as in the picture so not easy to recognise in the dark, thank goodness for google maps. "The hotel feels stuck in the 80s. Decor of the whole place is fairly grim. Rooms are big but we had no working fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or functioning air con. The air con turned on but sure as hell didn't do much and mostly smelled of cigarettes. As it was 35 degrees outside that was the major disappointment. Also the fuse box in the room tripped at least 2 times a day so we plunged into darkness randomly. On the plus side, the shower we had was good and when we got a fan from...
