"We had a wonderful stay! The location was great and it was only a short drive to restaurants and Gruene. We spent a day in Gruene Tx enjoying all the shops, the fabulous food at the Grustmill Restaurant and listening to live music at Gruene Hall. The house was very clean and perfect for the four of us. We enjoyed playing cornhole in the backyard facing the beautiful river. I would definitely stay here again. John was a great host and quickly responded to any questions we had. size for...

"The 5 of us had an enjoyable stay. We had planned on 7, but 2 had to cancel. Even with the 7 there would be more than enough space. The house overall is in good shape, though the bedrooms are an odd configuration. Plus, between skylights and windows it's impossible to block out light. The kitchen is nice, but is somewhat limited in furnishings. We never found a toaster, and not many pots and pans if cooking for a large group. As only 5 we mostly ate out. It does have a really nice large grill...
