"We loved the house for it's space and location. It's really well equipped with very comfortable beds. Plenty of room for three families with teenagers. The games room and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyed! Huge kitchen to socialise and cook easily in. Cosy lounge for chilling out. Lovely to have dog bed, bowls, treats etc provided. We enjoyed being able to stroll around Matlock. It was perfect, and we hope to return! "

Nothing was too much trouble and the property was amazing and even better than the photos suggest. "There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

"We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink."

"Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future."
