"Personnel were friendly. Rate was favorable. Exterior of hotel looks nice, interior was clean but dated. The cabin/outdoor themed interior is unique, however our room, along with common areas had some scratched or flaking paint. Pool area also had flaking paint and the whirlpool mechanism did not work. Breakfast rated ok. Appreciated the good rate when booked through Hotels.com/Expedia. "

"When I made my reservation, I put in the instruction section that I needed a ground floor room or if not available a room near the elevator. If there wasn’t an elevator available, it had to be a ground floor room. On check-in, I was informed that it was an upstairs room. When I explained to the clerk that an upstairs room would not work due to my wife’s mobility issues and that I had made note of it in my reservation, he was able to get us into a ground floor room.
