"This was a unique opportunity to experience local life. The cottage is located on the premises of a working farm and you are free to walk and explore. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"We all said we were sad to leave Casa Botanica after a relaxing fortnight in a great location for exploring this part of Portugal. The house was very spacious and whilst there were 5 of us, it would be a comfortable stay for 8. "We had a lovely stay in Alcobaca. This location was perfect and the pictures don't do it justice. The view is breathtaking, the pool is refreshing and the hosts are doting! It was quiet and serene and closeby to everything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here. Highly recommend!"

"We had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for only 2 nights. We wish it were more! Nuno and Lidiya are wonderful hosts and made sure we had every comfort we needed. The house is amazing, clean and spacious with beautiful stone architecture and artwork. There is every amenity you need and more. "Very nice and clean flat in a good location to explore this area of Portugal. It is within walking distance of the town of Fátima and very close to an Aldi. Check in directions were easy to follow. The only issue is the sloped ceilings of a loft apartment that you always must be aware of, especially if you are tall! We enjoyed our stay here."

"Room was very big. Had a kitchen and living room and bedroom. Breakfast was decent. Had scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, ham in addition to the continental fare. Had free parking. Very close to bus station. Walkable distance to car rental area. "
