"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"My husband and I were traveling throughout Portugal. We wanted to see Nazare but didn’t want to stay in the touristy areas with the crowds. So we chose this house which is in the Leiria area. It’s a traditional house with much of it recently renovated . It was very comfortable. And our hosts were great!"

"Such a cute place! Our host was super responsive negotiating the online registration and the two remotes for the tv setup. The apartment (it feels more like an apartment to me) had a pretty mix of old furniture with modern decor. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bath was fine, and the beds were comfortable. The location for exploring this little city was great: walking distance to the funicular to the castle, close to a nice weekend market, and easy to the city center and museums."

"We loved the house and location. It had everything we needed and hoped for to experience local lifestyle and cuisine. We were near hiking trails, beaches and did several day trips. The local restaurants and stores had the supplies we required and even to make Christmas lunch. Our hosts were exceptional in communication and guidance throughout the stay regards the house and ideas for exploring. We hope to return! "
