"If you want to sleep and have children who want to sleep before 12 midnight, don't chose this hotel. The music and the night life is not going to help you at all. The level of smoking all over the place with the exception of the inside is horrendous. You simply can't breath at all during the breakfast which is mandatory outside on the terrace and everybody is smoking next to you. "Outstanding hotel with close access to San Marco! Private vaporetto service through hotel for a small fee. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffett with fresh fruit, croissants, rolls, bakery, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, desserts and more. Wonderful staff and the rooms are impeccably clean. Quiet small community of Guidecca at night with restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We visited San Marco during the day and spent nights in Guidecca. Boat ride is 10 minutes. I have business 2X a year in Venice and will be returning to the Molino Stucky from now on. Thank you for a memorable stay! Ciao!"

"The only negative was the hotel offers a trip to Murano but transportation is only to and from one glass factory and you learn that once you are there not in advance. The glass factory applied tremendous and uncomfortable sales pressure making it an unpleasant experience. I would recommend getting to Murano independently."
