"Outstanding staff, especially Rubem. Lovely choice at breakfast. Great room with a view of the marina. Treated to an anniversary bottle of fizz and fruit which was a lovely touch. Some noise one night above us; sounded like chairs Being dragged across the floor and didn’t stop until midnight. Only happened that one time thankfully. Air con didn’t seem to work in our room, but not sure if it’s off because of the season. Superb location with great access to all modes of transport."

"First, the staff were so welcoming and helful. Especially Francisco and Carol. 2nd, admire the renovation creating a hotel from an older building. It is very innovative. 3d, the breakfast was delicious and well presented. 4th, the restaurant next door was outstanding. Ate there 3 nights in a row. Portuguese family style dinning!!!"

"We booked the last room expecting shared bathrooms and ended up with a large suite with a private bathroom. Not much interaction with staff, but the were friendly, it’s a little far from old town, (15 minute walk) but was quite charming. Located in a residential area. Breakfast was bread, cereal, nada, fruit. The rooms were charming and clean. "
