Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. "We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "

"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Stayed for afew days for a wedding, our stay also included New Years eve. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us with more space than we were expecting. We had a great time playing games and sitting round the log fire talking. The wi-fi was also good which was great for streaming movies etc. The weather was a bit wild when we were there so we didnt get the most from the walks that are on the door step. Good communication from Susie throughout our stay. Would certainly stay again. "

"The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there."

"Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. "Really great stay in this flat. Perfect for the car show up the road which we had travelled down for. The pub across the way did good value food. Only thing I would say is don’t email the property hosts, just text or phone the mobile number!"

"We booked this hotel for a layover flight. It was convenient to stay right in the terminal for a morning flight. Direct trains to the center of London can be accessed from near the hotel in the terminal which made it easy to visit the city and return. To connect from hotel to other terminals takes maximum 15 minutes."

The best place for terminal 5

"This is the place to stay for Heathrow terminal 5. Nice restaurant and bar. Great breakfast and a patio overlooking outbound flights which was fun to watch. Room was nice and quiet, great bath and shower and tea making facilities and an easy trip on pod to terminal 8 pounds. No elevators so if you struggle with steps to restaurant it wouldn’t be for you. But I was impressed. Staff were great!"

"The location was right near Heathrow. However the shuttle was a little tricky to figure out and not free. The breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had at a hotel. The beds were so comfortable Two miles from the tube So that’s not super convenient "
