Communication was excellent. Wine basket was a nice touch. Stairs were a bit of a challenge, but would not prevent me from looking to book this apartment again if I return to Carcassonne. "We spent a fantastic holiday in Belesta with Andrew and Babara. The tastefully furnished flat is fully equipped and as good as new. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the flat. In addition to our own small terrace, we had access to the large garden with pool and plenty of seating. Andrew and Barbara are attentive and helpful hosts. Belesta is an ideal starting point for activities such as cycling and hiking. There are also many excursion destinations. We would love to come...

"The apartment was in a great position for all the places of interest which we wanted to visit. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was effective and prompt. "This property though simple was an excellent value. Rooms were clean. Parking was plentiful. Included breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the fortress. The only downside was the laundry. With only one machine with a very small drum and many long-term residents, I would not count on the machine's availability. If you need to do laundry, there is a very good commercial one about a half-mile from the hotel. "
