"The property has 2 buildings. The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide. The food at restaurant is better than many Funchal ones. The only draw back is the fact that the add stated they have microwave, coockware, and dishes, but they had in the room only a kettle. "You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. Highly recommend this place."

"This is a nice little apartment on the outskirts of Santana with all its bars and restaurants. Immaculately clean with a spacious covered balcony and well-equipped kitchen - and the welcome from Maria was great. Just two minor issues, we felt: the bed was very hard (we ended up sleeping on top of the duvet) and there is no "comfy" furniture on the balcony. But it was the perfect base for touring round the island which we loved."

"The property was spotlessly clean and the beds and furniture comfortable. Lucy who looks after the property made us welcome. The property is well located in the centre of Santana with a small supermarket on the doorstep and a larger Contenente supermarket still walkable. "We stayed in the this property for 10 days. An Apartman was very clean and modern with his own wifi. Manuel was around to offer any help making sure we have everything. There is also washmashine available to use during the day. We really enjoyed aour stay!"
