"We visited Iceland for 2 weeks and this property was our favorite! The view of the ocean from the top floor was amazing! The filled hot tub was quite enjoyable. " A perfect stay in the golden circle. It was so cozy to come back to this beautiful cottage after a full day of exploring Iceland. Whether sitting on the deck to take in the amazing view or spend the night in the hot tub looking at the Northern Lights, this location and cottage has it all!"

The house itself was cozy and well-appointed, with modern amenities and a warm atmosphere. We especially loved the hot pot, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. "Klara and Harold are very welcoming. We enjoyed are stay. They have a beautiful farm. We were able to see sights on the Golden Circle, go to Hvolsvollur, and Seljalandsfoss from this location. We also visited the animals on the farm."

"Greg and Magnea were amazing hosts. Their property is absolutely perfect for a big group like ours were. Plenty of rooms so you can spread the group out while also having big community areas to all hang out in. You could also spread out and have smaller group hangs outs as well. I could go on and on about how amazing this place was!"

Very spacious and well equipped - this was the perfect location to recharge after travel, relax in multiple rooms, watch movies, and catch up on laundry. "Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. "Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!"

"Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten."

"Bedroom was comfortable with a good, hot shower. Bed was really good and well needed after a long day exploring. Loved all the little hooks around the room for hanging stuff. (Would have liked a drying room in the hotel for our wet things!) The food options were good as was the bar (if both a little pricey compared to UK prices) Roof terrace was nice to look out over the little town. Bakery and supermarket very close for bits and pieces. Walkable in a few minutes. Would definitely return here. We had a hire car and it was about 45 mins to the airport. On the golden circle though so easy to access all roads to wherever we needed to go. "

"My son and I spent three nights at this hotel. This is a hotel that caters to horse lovers and riders. Though we did not do any horse back riding, we did appreciate that each room was dedicated to a past or present horse on the premises. A plaque with the horse's name and other information was next to each hotel room. The room and bathroom were very clean. There is a restaurant on the premises for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive and dinner was a la carte and delicious. "

"The cottage met our expectations. We wanted a rural location with a hot tub and centrally located in the Golden Circle. This was exactly what we got. Staff was very responsive to our questions and asks. I would definitely come back to this location again. "

Just stay here already!....

"Such a unique and amazing experience... our bubble was cozy and felt like we were the only people in the world! The women that checked us in was super funny and nice... and as a side note. . I booked thru hotels.com but accidentally booked for the wrong date (off by one day)... since it was 3rd party vendor i was told theres nothing that can be done ... After contacting resort... they totally switched my date and accommodated my mistake.... i still cant thank them enough!!!"
