"We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!"

"The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). "We had the best 5 nights at Versalir, perfect location for adventuring around the southern part of the island - essentially an hour drive to everything you could want. The cabin is SO warm and welcoming and hosts friendly and helpful. The pictures on the listing are a little outdated - the shower room has been modernised for example, but if anything it is better than shown. Can’t wait to return!"

Otherwise, the location was perfect for the southeast part of the Golden Circle, it was an easy drive from the airport/capital, and we saw some excellent Northern lights from the deck! "
