"Through early research queries and then the booking process Mary was very quick to respond and recommended exactly the right house for us (Couples). Her mum, who is a lovely person and lives close by, was there to greet us and help us with any issues. The views are magnificent and sunset in the jacuzzi with a glass ot two is not to be missed. Stoupa is a lovely seaside village with plenty of options for eating and was not over touristy during our stay (early June). Highly recommended."

"Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town."

"What a wonderful stay we had. It is out there in the countryside up in the mountains away from everything. Very easy to find though. Beautiful views. Filanthi provided so many treats for us. We had a small problem with the washer, but it was probably just our lack of knowledge of European washers. Would highly recommend!!"

"This unit was located within short walking distance from restaurants, the marina, and shops. The actual citadel of Monemvasia was about a 10-15 min walk away. A great balcony overlooking the water and Monemvasia on the second floor was a great place to have a drink and relax. It was clean, comfortable, and the sound of the lapping sea put us all to sleep each night. The ONLY thing we had an issue with was the shower drainage. That needs to be fixed. Water accumulated a bit and we had to sop up...

"Traditional stone house, in a lovely little village, high above sealevel. The walk up the hill is truly exhausting, but ok we had been warned abaout that upfront. There is no local co-host on the ground to meet and greet you, so you will have to find your way on your own based on the route description, which has some flaws - in particular the house number was nowhere to be found...
