"This property has no parking. Once you find parking and walk to the street closest you have over a mile up hill and stairs. You have to carry you luggage, cooler, etc up many stairs. You need to be met by an employee because it is difficult to find and she speaks very little English so it was hard to understand where to meet her and so got frustrated. After seeing the place we immediately left and found the Vathi Hotel which is 5 stars and cheaper."

"The only reason this isn’t a 5 is because finding the property was not simple. The satnav takes you to the location but actually to the lane just behind the property. Some directions from the turn off would help so here goes… when you see a little church overlooking a bay on your right look for the sign saying Polish’s estate, just passed Mani by Bike, and make a left, follow the road uphill until you see a sign for villa Emma on the right take this road then next left up to the end."

The facilities are lovely, surrounded by flowers with an incredible view of the ocean down below. The have thought of all details from a baskets of food ingredients (olive oils, sauces and lots more) to the smallest things such as a flash light in order to walk safely at night time. "Stayed here in September for 3 days. The accommodations were excellent. The checkin process was easy. The host was very reachable and responsive during our stay. The location was perfect. Just a few steps from the beach where there were lounge chairs and umbrellas accessible to guests. Comfy beds, plenty of room to spread out, and 3 separate A/C units to keep the place cool on hot days. We enjoyed the private backyard and pool as well. We will definitely come back."

"Absolutely loved our stay at Zein and Andy’s place. The location was perfect - just a 5 minute walk down to the beach and a beautiful view from the garden across the sea and over the mountains. We spent most of our days exploring the Mani and loved returning to the house in the early evening to have a beer in the garden and watch the stars come out. We would highly recommend coming here if you love peace and relaxation!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bicycle trip in the peloponnese. The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). "We just came back from a 6 -day holiday in Skala with our 3 children (19, 16, 11) and we had an amazing time. The house, the setting, the beach, the facilities...everything is just perfect. I would highly recommend this house for a family with older kids or a group of friends. So if you are looking for calm, access to your own deserted sandy beach, family time., your own pool/table tennis/volley ball court...this is the place !
