"Lovely, comfortable property with beautiful views. The pool was a great asset to cool down in on hot days. Easy access to local supermarkets. Would recommend having a car to get out and about with. Hugo is an excellent friendly host with lots of great tips of where to go."

Jacques, Chantal and Roman were very welcoming and attentive without being invasive. Very patient with our limited grasp of the French language. The location in the hamlet of Entrevergnes Haut is quiet (the neighbours do fix cars in their big garage out the front though - it didn't bother us at all but might bother those who want complete quiet)- and there are beautiful hill top and valley walks from the front...

"We returned to En Macary this year and, like last year, had a fabulous time. Jean-Claude and Francoise were the perfect hosts and the house, garden and pool continue to exceed expectations. While we spent most of the time pottering around the local village and swimming we also enjoyed visiting the jardins des martels, penne castle, Castres and rocks of Sidobre. After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. "This property though simple was an excellent value. Rooms were clean. Parking was plentiful. Included breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the fortress. The only downside was the laundry. With only one machine with a very small drum and many long-term residents, I would not count on the machine's availability. If you need to do laundry, there is a very good commercial one about a half-mile from the hotel. "
