"Be aware: the listing shows only the units on the water. What you may actually be booking has no water around it. When we checked in we found that we were booked for a “Garden Unit,” meaning a boat parked on the grass several meters away from any water. Your view from such a unit will likely be weeds, not water. "Our trip was amazing, lougie our host was very friendly and madw us feel very welcome, he didn't speak much English but his understanding was very, good, we arrived after our check in time but he wenr out of his way to make us feel comfortable, he phoned a restaurant to see if they would except a late booking as we were hungry, he even provided us with an umbrella as it was raining, I would recommend this yacht to single and couples. "

"Nice apartment in a very convenience location close to everywhere. Plenty of space in each room and it has a washer."

"Very quiet apartment with a nice view to the canal. Building in very good condition and clean. The shower of one of the bathrooms was very small and also the water pressure could have been better."

Peaceful Location

"Just superb. The rooms were comfortable , the breakfast more than excellent and the best part was the vaporetto into Venice stops in front of the hotel. The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"It was located perfectly, for me I don’t like to be in the city so, finding a hotel that is closed to trains, bus, subways, streetcar, etc is importance for me and this one was! A 20minute ride on the train to Venice (surprisingly trains were on time for most of the time). So if you are like me then this is a great place! "

"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

Amazing!!!!

"Ok! This place is a hidden gem!!! And i do mean hidden it is down an alley that most people would avoid! But i say this to you my friend! GO DOWN THAT ALLEY!! The rewards are more well than you can imagine! This hotel is an amazing kind and remakably cool place. It reminds me of a really upscale brothel in design. But the kindess of the staff is unparalleled. And the breakfast was amazing and the beds were awesome ... just sayin i liked this place"

"The location of the hotel is great! Staff were wonderful and friendly. Front desk Marteno was awesome! Super helpful. Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. Location was everything. "
