"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

"I checkd in after hours and used luthe intercom at the outside door. Mariana was so helpful - you needcto pull then pushbthe door handle to open it after you hear the click. The breakfasts alone made my 5-night stay so pleasing, included fres made scrambled eggs and espresso Decaf. "My concerns were about the arrival process. I booked this on the train from Lisbon arriving at 2:45 pm. So I didn’t get check in details until after I arrived, so if you don’t have data you are SOL as reception closes at 3 pm ( Get that , check in at 3 ,doors shut tight at 3) I tried to call from the train and train station upon arrival but no answer.
