"My husband and I did a long weekend away for our anniversary. Neither of us have ever been to Vermont so we figured we’d give it a try. The property is as described. Its a beautiful house, extremely clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and the house was extremely comfortable. Did not realize there was no TV completely missed that in the description however we did have my iPad and a speaker so we were able to watch TV. There is not much to do in the area in May however unless you have good days for hiking, which we did not it rained every day . But I’m sure in the summer when you can use the lake more and in the fall when they have different events as well as winter with the skiing, there would be so much more to do there. But if you want a very nice quiet time away without hustle and bustle, this is a perfect spot. We are hoping to go back during one of the other seasons, either summer or fall to experience a different time of year.. "

"Wonderful! Not sure how anyone could give a bad review. Incredibly friendly staff, welcoming to my pup, beautiful location and view. Quiet and peaceful. I didn’t try the restaurant downstairs but it was packed and it’s off season. Comfy bed, huge bathroom and great shower. The only thing I would say is the third floor has very narrow stairs that would be hard for folks with mobility issues. Also it was a little weird to have to walk through a restaurant to go to your room but doubt it would be if I hadn’t had a dog 😂 thank you for a great stay! I’d love to come back. "

"It was mostly excellent but the room itself was unacceptable for someone like me that has to have a cool room to sleep in. So if you need a room that needs to be cooled to 60 degrees,this won't do. I had to leave at 11pm because I could not sleep. I will NOT be back!"

"This house was just right for four adults. The additional bunk room would be fun for kids as well. Nice attention to detail and ‘if you forgot’ items. Comfortable beds. Very clean! The weather let us have a great view of the stormy lake but the outdoor space would be great for sitting and playing. Host was very attentive and friendly. "
