"Such a wonderful respite from our busy lives. Perfect setting , great home, so much fun tubing in the New River which is close by and enjoying the fire out and outdoor space and porches. Plenty of towels and supplies. Home is very clean and well kept."

It was just after Christmas and we were visiting my sister and her family so we wanted a place where we could all sit down and have a meal. And this place is perfect and so lovely. Just as described, clean, easy to access and the host was amazing, even checked in with us after we arrived to ask if there was anything else we needed. We have family in this area, we will stay here again!"

"We stayed here for a wedding that was about 20 minutes away. The neighborhood was tough to get into because of the snow, but everything else was perfect. The house was lovely and clean and it had everything we needed to feel cozy during the winter weather. Super close to town which made getting supplies easy too!"

We love the fact that you are out in the country but so very close to stores and downtown Mayberry. We love the fact that the owners are close by and always so happy to help. "A home that has the luxury of 2025 but the feel of the 1900’s.What a great place to stay you can look out the window in the morning and see God’s beauty from the cattle to the mountains.The home has the original floors original walls from the early 1900s what a place to stay you can imagine being there and knowing that someone churned butter in that home, they canned their own food in that home that Home represents love if you want a place to stay as a blast from the past stay in this place!!"
