"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...

"The property is beautiful and clean. Although on a very steep hill! The owners did warn us of the extremely tricky parking which was confusing as to where we could park. Unfortunately we blocked the owners from using their drive for the night but they understood and managed to park elsewhere. Perhaps some signage on the traffic cones re parking would help.
