"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. "This flat was very nicely appointed, the only issue we had was that despite adjusting the temperature controls in every room they appeared to make no difference to the actual temperature - they were either on or off regardless of the setting. "Absolutely stunning location. Don't have to drive any where to walk the dogs, so many walks just on the doorstep. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bathroom has the best shower ever experienced. The back garden is very dog friendly, even our jack Russell puppy couldn't escape. Though our dog's presence kept setting off the owner's dog's ( they live adjacent to the property) so was a bit worried we were disturbing them when their dog's heard us walking around, which would get their dog's barking....
