"Property was mostly as described. This is a small, hunting cabin-like property with the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Wifi wasn’t working for my stay and my phone (Verizon) had zero service. Closest place with service was about 6 miles up the road. Check in process was difficult as the key box wouldn’t work and I had no service to contact the property owner. Luckily the neighbor was there and let me use his phone (AT&T has service here)."

"Loved our stay! We were here for a wedding so didn't get as much time to enjoy the facilities but we were able to take a short hike and kayak on the river. Beautiful property, very clean and comfortable room perfectly set-up and with coffee/creamer in the room for our convenience. Kathi was so helpful every time we reached out. Highly recommend!"

"Hiwassee Acres was better than I could have expected. The property was beautiful and had such a relaxing atmosphere. Kathi and David were great hosts who could be found working around the property. "Like a secret little paradise! Kathi and her husband were so kind and hospitable! We had a wonderful time kayaking at sunset, and we can't wait for a reason to come through the Cleveland area again so we can bring the kids to see! Everything was shiny clean and perfectly in place! Check in and out were seemless and the room was well stocked with whatever we needed! We will definitely be back!"

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet alcove (some minor construction noise) where our kids aged 6-8 could freely and safely play and explore with all the water craft.
