"Little House by the Ferry was exactly as described. We wanted a weekend holiday get-away in the off-season and this trip hit the mark. The cottage is as shown in the photos and description. Since it was off-season and only a few on-island amenities were open, it was nice to have the little kitchen details like coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. The cottage is in a very quiet area and easy walking distance to most places. Morning coffee on the screened porch with bird watching and lazy naps in the afternoon in the porch hammock. It is near a camp ground, which did not have any visitors at the time we stayed. "

"This home is conveniently located within walking distance of many of the local businesses. The house is very well-provisioned as the owners have thought of everything. We had our dog with us and they had a food bowl, a kennel, and some dog blankets. The screened-in porch was also very cozy and had lots of space for gathering. The central living room and kitchen area are very spacious and cozy, with lots of places to sit and relax. The host was very communicative and made the stay a breeze.
