"We love Ocracoke, and this is our second time staying at the Net House. We love it! It's small, cozy, simple, and in a great location. It's our favourite place to stay. Only issue with cleanliness was quite a few dead bugs in the shower stall. Otherwise cleanliness was excellent. "

"While the house is a nice size and has good general amenities, it is a little beaten up and worn for the worse. Shades are broken or don't work, comforters were worn and even dirty, the furniture is a mishmash of different pieces and not well pulled together. Worst of all, the whole place smelled badly fishy when we first walked in and it never went away despite many scented candles etc. The mgt company is nice and tried to help but we left early as the house just wasn't comfortable."

"This quaint property was very clean and well located on the island. The kitchen was usable and had enough amenities to eat in. From the house we were able to walk to restaurants. It was just a short drive to the beach. The showers were updated and sizable. My only suggestion for a more top notch house would be to repaint the hallway because the touch up paint didn’t match and gave it a very worn appearance. Overall, it was a nice vacation rental. "

"Little House by the Ferry was exactly as described. We wanted a weekend holiday get-away in the off-season and this trip hit the mark. The cottage is as shown in the photos and description. Since it was off-season and only a few on-island amenities were open, it was nice to have the little kitchen details like coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. The cottage is in a very quiet area and easy walking distance to most places.
