"Though the hotel is not right in the core of the city, it is still conveniently locate..right on the tram line and next to a great shopping area. The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet. The restaurant/bar is cozy and quaint and food is very good. All around great stay."

"The apartment was very modern and clean but it was up four flights of stairs. Also no AC so it got very warm the two days I was there when Zurich was in the high 80'sF. Had a coffee maker but no coffee. Would have been nice if they kept some instant coffee in the cupboard."

Comfortable beds, laundry facilities, morning coffee supplies, walking access to visit the lake / Old Town and other spots of interest - all contributed to a great stay. "My family rented this flat for the location and amenities as I was racing Ironman Zurich while we were in town. When we arrived in Zurich, the property owner told us that the previous person renting the flat was in an accident and that we could not get in since their belongings were still in the flat. He also only communicated with us via text message and not through the VRBO app, which we thought odd. We were directed to another flat (belonging to a friend of the owner) in a different location...

"The location of this property is very good - right next to a tram stop, a short walk to Zurich Enge station (direct trains to airport and shops), and within easy walking distance of Zurich See (lake). It is in a pleasant neighbourhood which felt safe. The apartment was clean and the cooking facilities a great way to stay in this very expensive city in a more economical manner. The only criticism was that it lacks air con and whilst it had a ceiling fan it was largely ineffective. ...
